Bintulu Port Q3 earnings dip to nearly RM35m

KUALA LUMPUR: Bintulu Port Holdings Bhd's earnings fell 5.1% to RM34.74mil in the third quarter ended Sept 30, 2017 due to the higher expenditure incurred with the commencement of Phase 1 operation of Samalaju Industrial Port since June 2017.

It said on Monday its earnings fell from RM36.61mil a year ago. Its earnings per share were 7.55 sen compared with 7.96 sen. The company declared a third interim single tier dividend of five sen per share, lower than the six sen declared the previous year quarter.
