Wipro Unza to buy China company at undisclosed sum


PETALING JAYA: Personal care company Wipro Unza (M) Sdn Bhd is acquiring China-based fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) company Zhongshan Ma Er Daily Products Ltd for an undisclosed cash sum.

Wipro Unza said in a statement yesterday that it had signed a definitive agreement to acquire 100% shareholding of Zhongshan, adding that the acquisition would help it leapfrog into the leading position in China’s personal care market.
