SHANGHAI: China’s central bank boosted the supply of cash in the financial system, helping push the benchmark money-market rate down from a three-month high.
The People’s Bank of China (PBoC) sold 180 billion yuan (US$27bil) of seven-day reverse-repurchase agreements, which inject funds into the banking system.
