Phase one of MRT2 to be ready in July 2021


Government had given the final approval for the MRT Sungai Buloh-Serdang-Putrajaya Line (SSP Line) railway scheme

SERI KEMBANGAN: The first phase of the MRT Sungai Buloh-Serdang-Putrajaya (SSP) line (MRT2) is expected to be completed in July 2021.

MRT Corp said on Monday the first phase of the project would connect Kwasa Damansara to Kampung Batu.

The second phase, which would extend to Putrajaya Sentral from Kwasa Damansara, would likely be completed in July 2022.

The SSP line is the second MRT line to be built under the Klang Valley Mass Rapid Transit Project. The line is 52.2km in length of which 38.7km are elevated and 13.5km underground.
