PETALING JAYA: Malaysian banks are at risk of capital pressures with decline in profits to linger until next year, according to rating agency Moody’s Investors Service.
In its report yesterday, Moody’s said the challenging operating landscape would continue to take a toll on financial institutions here as profits slashed on rising credit costs and shrinking net interest margins (NIMs).
