Can-One price surge catches Bursa Securities’ eye


KUALA LUMPUR: Bursa Malaysia Securities has queried can manufacturer Can-One after the rally in its share price recently.

The regulator had on Tuesday issued the unusual market activity (UMA) query and advised investors to take note of the company’s reply to the query.

Bursa Securities had directed the company to enquire with the directors, major shareholders and other relevant persons about the UMA.

Can-One’s share price had surged 54 sen or 13.2% from RM4.07 last Friday to RM4.61 at midday on Tuesday.

And since Oct 30, its share price had surged from RM3.47 – an increase of 32.8% -- to RM4.61.

Aside from making tin cans, Can-One also manufactures plastic jerry cans, bag-in-box while it also makes and distributes dairy and non-dairy products.
