Maxis, Tenaga weigh as KLCI falls 7 points


KUALA LUMPUR: Maxis and Tenaga Nasional were among the biggest losers on the FBM KLCI in early Friday trade as the market  came under  pressure on continued foreign selling and the weak overnight close on Wall Street.

At 9.24am, the FBM KLCI was down 7.33 points or 0.43% to 1,715.11. Turnover was 185.31 million shares valued at RM87.71mil. There were 152 gainers, 222 losers and 197 counters unchanged.
