Agilent plans another manufacturing facility in Penang


GEORGE TOWN: Agilent Malaysia is thinking of setting up another manufacturing facility in Penang as a long-term solution to accommodate the growth of its life sciences and medical instrument business.

Agilent Malaysia president Chai Meng Fee said the current production floor space of 100,000 sq ft was over 80% occupied. “The present 62-acre site of Agilent has space for another manufacturing facility.
