ASEAN members could remove non-tariff barriers in competitive areas


KUALA LUMPUR: Removal of non-tariff barriers can be done by ASEAN members in the fields where they are competitive but not in the areas that could undermine their development, a banker said. 

"Each country has to define the specific areas they want to focus on and how they can benefit from the AEC," the banker, who requested anonymity, told Bernama on the sidelines of the Invest Malaysia 2015 here today.
