GLCs key contributors to nation's economic growth, says Najib

KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak said government-linked companies (GLCs) under the GLC Transformation Programme have been key contributors to the nation's economic growth and development over the past 10 years.

"The G20 has invested RM154 billion into the Malaysian economy and has internationalised its presence, drawing 34 per cent of the revenue from abroad and operating in at least 42 countries," he said in his keynote address at the Invest Malaysia 2015's institutional investor conference here today.
