KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Wan Zulkiflee Wan Ariffin has been appointed president and chief executive officer of Petroliam Nasional Bhd (Petronas).
Bernama reported on Monday his appointment takes effect from April 1.
Wan Zulkiflee, 54, takes over from Tan Sri Shamsul Azhar Abbas, who will remain until March 31.
Wan Zulkiflee is currently the chief operating officer and executive director of Petronas.
He is also executive vice-president of the downstream business at the oil company and chairman of Petronas Chemicals Group Bhd
