Spicing up an iconic brand

IT may seem strange, but sales of Malaysia’s oldest chilli sauce brand, Lingham’s, in the UK have overtaken the home country’s sales.

Lingham & Sons (M) Sdn Bhd, which came under a new owner and management in 2012, has no plans to slow its overseas expansion. However, it does recognise the need to boost domestic sales by raising brand awareness among the younger generation.
