Astro wins arbitration against AV Asia


PETALING JAYA: The Kuala Lumpur Regional Centre for Arbitration (KLRCA) has ruled in favour of Astro Malaysia Holdiongs Bhd in relation to an arbitration proceedings between its wholly-owned subsidiary, Measat Broadcast Network Systems Sdn Bhd (MBNS), and AV Asia Sdn Bhd.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Astro said the proceeding was in relation to AV Asia’s allegations that MBNS had breached the terms of a mutual non-disclosure agreement dated Aug 1, 2008, in the manufacture and supply of satellite dishes.
