S P Setia Q3 earnings up 2% to RM103.3mil

KUALA LUMPUR: S P Setia Bhd’s revenue in the third quarter ended July 31, 2014 rose 12% year-on-year to RM902.6mil from RM806.8mil, with earnings edging up 2% to RM103.3mil from RM101.3mil.

The increase in revenue was mainly contributed by higher revenue recognition from property development, as a result of higher overall group sales achieved since FY2012, coupled with higher profit contribution from completed parcels, the company said.
