BAT Q2 earnings up 17.7% to RM248mil, 78 sen dividend

KUALA LUMPUR: British American Tobacco Bhd posted a 17.7% increase in earnings to RM248mil in the second quarter ended June 30, 2014 from RM210.8mil in the same period a year earlier.

Revenue rose 6% to RM1.226bil from RM1.156bil.
