Penang-based AT plans RM10mil expansion

GEORGE TOWN: Penang-based precision part and component manufacturer AT Systemisation Bhd plans to expand its precision tooling business by investing about RM10mil in a new Bayan Lepas plant this year, its group executive director Mak Siew Wei said. The plant is scheduled for completion by the end of this year.

The expansion will enable the company to make component parts used in the oil and gas sector and the medical industries. Customers from these two sectors are currently mainly from Singapore. The company plans to expand its customer base to Malaysia, Indonesia and Brunei.
