KUALA LUMPUR: BURSA MALAYSIA BHD has introduced the Bursa Malaysia Electronic Statement (eStatement) to its Central Depository System (CDS) account holders, it said on Wednesday.
Bursa Malaysia said with the implementation of eStatement, CDS account holders will be able to request for CDS statements of accounts and notices to be delivered to emails instead of current hard copies delivered via mail.
Chief executive officer Datuk Tajuddin Atan said the eStatement ensures CDS account statements and notices are delivered efficiently, reducing the risk of missing mails and paper usage.
CDS account holders are encouraged to apply for this new service by visiting the eStatement Section of Bursa Malaysia’s website at www.bursamalaysia.com and sign up for eStatement.
