Johan is new president of Malaysian Institute of Accountants

PETALING JAYA: Johan Idris (pic), the Malaysian Institute of Accountants’ former vice-president, has been promoted to president to succeed Datuk Mohd Nasir Ahmad.

The statutory body for the accountancy profession in Malaysia said in a statement that it had, simultaneously, appointed Datuk Zaiton Mohd Hassan as its new vice-president, taking up the position vacated by Johan. Both appointments took effect from July 22.
