Johan surges after MUI-linked firm sells 4.25% stake

KUALA LUMPUR: Shares of Johan Holdings Bhd surged 38% to 20 sen on Friday after a substantial shareholder linked to Malayan United Industries Bhd disposed of 26.5 million shares last week.

At 10.51am, it was up 5.5 sen to 20 sen, the highest since Aug 28, 2012. There were 45 million shares done.
