KUALA LUMPUR: Over 28,000 members of the Associated Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Malaysia (ACCCIM) will be able to access their credit details and rating services via tie-up with Credit Bureau Malaysia (CBM).
CBM and ACCIM had on Tuesday signed a collaboration agreement to enable the latter's members, most of whom are small and medium enterprises, to access the details.
CBM said the tie-up would also enable the members to improve their credit worthiness and monitor their own credit records for accuracy.
The collaboration would also prevent identity theft or fraudulent activities such as the illegal use of the SME's identity to apply for banking loans, it said.
