Petronas Gas set to gain from parent’s plan for LNG terminal

PETALING JAYA: Petronas Gas Bhd is likely to be the beneficiary of a plan by parent Petroliam Nasional Bhd (Petronas) to build a liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal in Lumut, said OSK Research head of research Chris Eng.

On Thursday, Petronas revealed that it has plans to build an LNG terminal in Lumut as there is a need to appease the increasing demand for gas in Peninsular Malaysia.
