KUCHING: Malaysian oil palm planters will appeal collectively to Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak to abolish the windfall profit levy on crude palm oil (CPO) after their requests were turned down by the Finance Ministry recently.
The joint appeal is expected to be made by the Malaysian Palm Oil Association (MPOA), Malaysian Estate Owners' Association (MEOA), East Malaysia Planters' Association (EMPA) and Sarawak Oil Palm Plantation Owners' Association (SOPPOA).
