Weida eyes MCMC projects


KUCHING: Weida (M) Bhd, which has built more than 240 telecommunication towers in Sabah, is eyeing more of such projects under the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission’s (MCMC) Time 3 Progamme.

Group managing director Datuk Lee Choon Chin said hundreds more telecommunication towers would be built in rural areas under MCMC’s accelerated Time 3 Programme, in line with the Government’s plan to establish at least one 1Malaysia tele-centre in each sub-district.
