SEOUL: South Korea's foreign currency reserves rose to their second record high in three months amid strength in the euro and British pound, the central bank said Monday.
The reserves totaled $289.78 billion at the end of September, up $4.42 billion from $285.35 billion the previous month, the Bank of Korea said in a statement. The previous high was $285.96 billion in July.
