Among the arts fraternity there is hardly any distinction between the many ethnic groups. Sure there’s theatre in BM, in Chinese, in Tamil and I hope in Iban, Bidayuh and so on, but as a group of people doing what they like or love, the mindset is one. I hope I’m right, although I do get confronted with race issues from time to time. It’s natural.
