PETALING JAYA: Malaysia’s exports are expected to grow between 6% and 7% this year, double the earlier forecast, as demand improves in tandem with the global economic recovery.
International Trade and Industry Minister Datuk Seri Mustapa Mohamed said a higher export growth was needed for the country to achieve the gross domestic product (GDP) growth forecast of 5%–6% this year.
