KUALA LUMPUR: The steadier key Asian markets were unable to provide the much needed boost to the local stock market, with blue chips slipping at the midday break on Monday, weighed down by losses in BCHB and Public Bank-F following some foreign selling.
However, some buying support was seen in EON Cap and KL Kepong on fresh corporate news and higher crude palm oil prices.
