IKA Works invests RM12mil in biofuel R&D centre


GERMANY’S IKA Works Group will invest RM12mil to build a research and development (R&D) centre in Selangor’s Rawang integrated park to focus on biofuel, biotech and pharmaceutical applications for the industrial sector.

IKA Works (Asia) Sdn Bhd managing director Sunil Kramer says the R&D centre, to be built on a two-acre site, is part of its expansion plans in Malaysia from its current role as a sales and marketing arm. IKA Works manufactures industrial mixers and blenders and also process equipment.
