KUALA LUMPUR: About 20 members of the Kuala Lumpur Business Club (KLBC) are in New York on a mission to promote Malaysia.

The programme includes a presentation on the Iskandar Development Region by Khazanah Nasional Bhd executive director of investment, Ganendran Sarvananthan. CIMB-Principal Asset Management chairman Charon Wardini Mokhzani made a presentation on the Malaysian financial markets and Islamic products while Malaysia Airlines chairman Datuk Dr Munir Majid talked about the tourism industry.

Munir, who is also the KLBC president, said in a statement earlier that the programme covered “specific and broad perspectives for the benefit of our country and members, particularly the younger business leaders.” – Bernama
