FRANKFURT: German airline Deutsche Lufthansa posted a rise of about 46% in full-year operating profit, just beating market expectations, after it cut costs and passenger numbers grew.
Lufthansa said on Monday its operating result rose to about 845 million euros (US$1.1bil) last year, based on preliminary figures.
