Vyncke wins contract for biomass plants


PETALING JAYA: Vyncke (East Asia) Sdn Bhd, a unit of Belgian-based firm Vyncke Energietechniek NV, has secured a RM51mil contract to supply the combustion and heat recovery technology for Malaysia's first biomass-based twin power plants. 

Vyncke will use its patented technology to build the plants for a Japanese generalcontractor supplying the turbine and other parts for the project to Kina Biopower Sdn Bhd and Seguntor Bioenergy Sdn Bhd.
