Proposal to expand scope of agreements


KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia has proposed to expand the scope of the Mutual Recognition Arrangements (MRAs) to include integrated engineering services to meet the needs of the engineering committee in Asean, said the International Trade and Industry Ministry (Miti). 

A separate MRA on integrated engineering services is currently being discussed, which will cover turnkey design, build services as well as other engineering and technology services which are not being covered at present.
