Tan signals end to Southern Bank saga


After six months of defending his position and that of the bank which Tan Sri Tan Teong Hean spent over two decades building, it appears that the country's most hotly followed and high profile takeover of Southern Bank Bhd (SBB) by Bumiputra-Commerce Holdings Bhd (BCHB) has reached its final chapter.  

And the final chapter sees Tan relenting to an offer put forth by BCHB.
