Prokhas inks pact with Danaharta

PROKHAS Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Minister of Finance, Inc, has entered into management agreements with Pengurusan Danaharta Nasional Bhd, Danaharta Urus Sdn Bhd, and Danaharta Managers Sdn Bhd (Danaharta companies) to professionally manage their residual assets as of Jan 1. 

Prokhas also said in a statement it had appointed Fazlur Rahman Ebrahim managing director from Dec 1, 2005. 

Fazlur Rahman, who has over 25 years of banking and finance experience, was formerly Bank Islam Malaysia Bhd chief operating officer. Prior to that, he was Bank Muamalat Malaysia Bhd president and chief executive officer. 

He was with Pengurusan Danaharta as general manager (operations) from 1999 to 2003.
