RM321mil investments in electronics approved in Q1

THE Government has approved 27 projects in the electronics sector in the first quarter this year, with capital investments amounting to RM321mil, said International Trade and Industry Minister Datuk Seri Rafidah Aziz. 

She said at the opening of the seminar on Opportunities in the Electronics Industry in conjunction with NEPCON Malaysia 2005 in Kuala Lumpur yesterday that between 2000 and March 2005, 808 projects were approved in this sector, with capital investments totalling RM39.2bil.
