RETAIL chain Ngiu Kee Corp Bhd looks set to solidify its position as the market leader in Sabah and Sarawak's retail industry with its planned aggressive expansion drive into the hypermarket business.
The company is targeting to open its first hypermarket in Miri by mid-2005, with a second in Kuching by the end of 2005, and a third in Kota Kinabalu by 2006. It is also finalising the sites for two more hypermarkets – in Sibu and Bintulu.
