SINGAPORE: The city-state hopes to double manufacturing output in 15 years as regional competition heats up from lower-cost rivals such as fast-growing China and India.
Manufacturing accounts for about a quarter of Singapore's gross domestic product – equivalent to about S$40bil last year.
