Asia Unit trust declares 3 sen cash payout

ASIA Unit Trusts Bhd (AUTB), a subsidiary of Malaysian Industrial Development Finance Bhd (MIDF) Group, has declared a gross distribution of 3 sen cash payout or 8.4% to the unit-holders of its AUTB Dana Bakti (ADB) for the financial year ended June 15, 2004. 

Its chief executive officer Mushthaq Ahmad Ibrahim said ADB achieved a five-year total return of 30.75% for the period between June 4, 1999, to June 4, 2004, outperforming the Kuala Lumpur Composite Index (KLCI) which recorded a total return 8.52% for the same period.
