PRUDENTIAL Assurance Malaysia Bhd has launched PRUsenior med – believed to be the first medical plan of its kind that provides Malaysians aged 45 to 80 insurance cover of up to RM225,000 for hospitalisation and surgical expenses.
Prudential chief executive officer Ng Keng Hooi said the product was aimed at tapping the medical insurance market for retirees, as very few companies provided post-employment coverage for their employees.
