TOKYO: Japan posted a current account surplus of 2.157 trillion yen (US$20.3bil) in February, up 46.2% from a year earlier as demand for Japanese goods from China and elsewhere continued to fuel an economic recovery.
Finance Ministry data showed yesterday the current account, the broadest measure of trade in goods and services, was up for the eighth straight month on a year-on-year basis.
