Saujana’s Damansara Perdana shaping up as the hip place

SAUJANA Triangle Sdn Bhd's Damansara Perdana project is blending well with the dynamic happenings within the “Golden Triangle of PJ” with its retail-cum-commercial precincts rapidly serving up alfresco dining menus and other lifestyle offerings.

The Place, a five-storey commercial block featuring 107 units of shop and office suite which was recently completed, is set to usher in the new “lifestyle components” to make the 750-acre township more vibrant.

Saujana Triangle chief operating officer Peter Chan said the Metropolitan Square, a mixed development of condominiums, shops and offices, would add further impetus to the township's appeal as a “happening place.”

“We have put in place very unique lifestyle products here, especially the resort-style and high-tech theme of our condominiums, that the young and professional group finds attractive.

To meet their needs, we have products such as Emerald Place, comprising 37 prime retail and office space, complete with the Perdana Walk to emulate the successes of Bintang Walk and Pyramid Walk,” Chan said.

He said the Metropolitan Square condominiums, featuring Malaysia's first glass-edged swimming pool and first wireless homes, had also attracted much interest.

The glass and steel exterior facade gave the homes, shops and offices there a modern and futuristic look.

Tagged The Modern Difference, it is the most modern condominium and commercial development in Petaling Jaya. About RM7.5mil would be invested to create broadband wireless fidelity (wi-fi) access in all the condominiums, offices and retail outlets.

The project will feature 1,673 condominiums, 60 retail lots and 127 office suites for a gross development value of RM697.2mil.

Chan said the first landed property in Damansara Perdana, in the form of strata-titled bungalows, would be built on the hills, with the highest peak at 350m above sea level.

“These bungalows will command a majestic view of the Kuala Lumpur skyline, with some units having clear view of the Petronas twin towers.”

Other products in the pipeline for future launch are townhouses and more condominiums.

“Without a doubt, Damansara Perdana is poised to become a special development in this corridor, with many innovative features that will make it a lifestyle leader,” Chan said.
