Hague’s resignation sparks speculation on new RHB Bank CEO


THE banking community is abuzz with speculation as to who will succeed Michael Hague as chief executive officer of RHB Bank after RHB Capital Bhd announced his resignation yesterday. 

Various possible candidates have been mentioned, among them existing CEOs and deputy CEOs of local anchor banks. Two top names from EON Bank Bhd for the posts of CEO and chief operating officer have also cropped up, although no confirmation could be obtained at press time.
