TOKYO (AP) - Nomura Securities said Monday it will help Korean Air gain 27 billion yen (US$231.6 million) in revenue from its future flights in advance by selling securities to institutional investors backed by the income from ticket sales.
The scheme, put together by Nomura International in Hong Kong, will enable Korean Air to secure revenue from three years of flights between Japan and South Korea without having to wait for customer payment.
