TOKYO: Japan's Marine and Fire Insurance Association said its 24 member non-life insurers posted a combined pre-tax profit of 197.07bil yen and a combined net profit of 79.88bil yen for the year ended March.
In the previous year, they posted a combined pre-tax loss of 123.99bil yen and a combined net loss of 154.82bil yen.
