TAI Kwong Yokohama Bhd expects its current monthly automotive battery production of 150,000 pieces to rise by 20% when the company relocates its production to a new site this year.
Managing director Chow Siew Hon said relocating the current two manufacturing plants – in Balakong, Selangor, and Ipoh, Perak – to Semenyih, Selangor, would centralise production and operations.
