ALCATEL Network Systems (M) Sdn Bhd will increase its production capacity of rectifier modules and synchronous digital hierarchy (SDH) equipment at its factory in Penang due to expected high demand from the telecommunications, information technology and industrial markets.
Its Malaysia country senior officer John Quaeyhaegens said the switch mode direct current (DC) rectifier and SDH were growing businesses and the company had started to increase production to cater to future demand.
