Dr. Roket aims to support 150,000 postgraduate students by 2030 through Roket Valley, a digital learning platform offering academic guidance and mentorship.
Dr Mohd Khairul Nizam Zainan Nazri, managing director of 2M World Sdn. Bhd., said the platform was developed to help master’s and PhD students plan their studies and complete their theses.
Students can access introductory guidance online rather than waiting for face-to-face classes. The platform’s standard access fee is RM499, but access is currently free as part of its launch.
Mohd. Khairul Nizam said the initiative is intended to help students who are unsure how to begin postgraduate study, manage their time, organise research or progress with their theses.
Since Dr. Roket was established in 2016, more than 80,000 participants have taken part in its online and in-person mentoring programmes. Of these, 234 PhD candidates received direct supervision through to completion, he said.
Its programmes include the Postgraduate Transformation Program, Rocket Intensive Class, Thesis Mastery Bootcamp and Vivalicious, which offers support with study planning, thesis improvement and viva preparation.
Participants come from fields including medicine, engineering, law, social sciences and agriculture, and study at institutions in Malaysia and overseas.
