HYDERABAD, (India): (Bernama) A nine-day Malaysian food festival was launched in New Delhi to showcase the country’s rich culinary heritage.
The event, held at a hotel in central Delhi, was inaugurated on Saturday (Sept 26) by the Chargé d'Affaires of the High Commission of Malaysia, Sharifah Ezneeda Wafa Syed Zulkarnain Wafa.
It was attended by Asean heads of mission, media representatives as well as invited guests.
According to a post on the High Commission’s Facebook page, the festival features chefs Sazali and Nazaruddin, who were specially flown in from Kuala Lumpur to present a variety of authentic Malaysian dishes to food lovers in the Indian capital.
The two Malaysian chefs earlier collaborated with Perwakilan, the women’s association of the Malaysian Foreign Ministry in Delhi, to offer a taste of Malaysia to guests attending the Malaysian National Day reception on Friday. - Bernama
