Lion Parcel, a leading Indonesia-based logistics service provider, officially opened its first international office in Subang Jaya, Malaysia, marking its first step into an international market and strengthening logistics connectivity between Malaysia, Indonesia, and beyond.
Malaysia was selected as the first market for Lion Parcel’s international expansion due to its strategic position as a regional hub. Through its presence, Lion Parcel aims to create more opportunities for businesses and communities to meet their cross-border delivery needs, connecting Malaysia with Indonesia and other international markets.
“Malaysia is an important first step in Lion Parcel’s international journey. We see significant opportunities to optimize the Lion Group ecosystem, particularly Batik Air Malaysia’s air connectivity.
"This provides Lion Parcel’s business partners with access to a wider international network. In addition, the cargo infrastructure supported by Batik Air Malaysia’s Cargo Terminal Operator (CTO) further strengthens Lion Parcel’s operational infrastructure, enabling more efficient processes so that packages can be delivered faster and more securely,” said Farian Kirana, Chief Executive Officer of Lion Parcel.
Farian added, “With this foundation, we want to provide businesses and communities with broader access to logistics connectivity, helping them move goods more efficiently across markets and reach wider opportunities.
"That is why we want to be present not only as a logistics service provider, but also as an enabler within the ecosystem, connecting businesses to more possibilities as they grow.”

Echoing this view, Alvin Williams, Country Head of Lion Parcel Malaysia, said the company sees Malaysia not only as an important market, but also as a strategic location within the region’s evolving logistics landscape.
“Malaysia has an important role to play in the development of regional logistics connectivity, particularly with Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) continuing to develop its position as a regional air cargo and transshipment hub.
"For us, this creates opportunities to connect logistics services with the wider air cargo network and support the movement of goods between Malaysia, Indonesia and other international markets,” said Alvin.
Building on this connectivity, Lion Parcel Malaysia aims to complement the existing air and cargo infrastructure by connecting delivery services to the wider logistics network. Lion Parcel Malaysia currently provides delivery services for both B2B and retail customers, covering international shipments to destinations served through the Lion Group’s flight network.
Lion Parcel’s presence in Malaysia is supported by the Lion Group ecosystem, including air connectivity through Batik Air Malaysia, which currently serves over 60 destinations across 20 countries, spanning key markets across Southeast Asia, China, India, Australia and other regional destinations.
Lion Parcel will leverage this network as part of its operational development, while expanding delivery connectivity between Malaysia, Indonesia, and other international markets.

Lion Parcel is also supported by a Cargo Terminal Operator (CTO) operated by Batik Air Malaysia, strategically located at KLIA Cargo Village, Selangor, Malaysia. This integrated cargo infrastructure serves as a key differentiator for Lion Parcel, helping to accelerate the delivery process through air freight while supporting safer and more efficient international deliveries.
As its first international market, Malaysia marks the beginning of Lion Parcel’s broader international journey, with the company continuing to explore opportunities to expand its connectivity and collaborate with partners across markets.
