Tractor-trailer overturns in northern Vietnam, killing three

HANOI: Three people were killed after a tractor-trailer overturned on a national highway in Vietnam's northern province of Cao Bang, the Vietnam News Agency reported Saturday (Sept 19).

The accident occurred at around 4.30pm local time Friday (Sept 18) on National Highway 4A in Thach An commune.

The tractor-trailer was traveling from Phuc Hoa commune toward Thach An commune when the driver lost control and the vehicle overturned.

Its cargo fell onto a house, killing a man inside. Two men in the tractor-trailer were also killed at the scene.

The cause of the accident is under investigation. - Xinhua
